    beautiful decor
    good breakfast
    peaceful garden view
    weak wi-fi signal

beautiful space but a few quirks

The attention to detail in the decor and setup. The breakfast, especially the homemade granola, was a standout and good. The garden view from our room added a peaceful charm to our experience that we loved.

The wi-fi signal was weaker than expected, which could be inconvenient.

Its location was amazing, just off a pub at the end, fields and Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wells and more.

    Needs improvement
    5.0

A few things could use some improving. For instance, some plumbing quirks could detract from the experience. Those who prefer a bit more hustle might find the remote location a bit off-putting, and the breakfast menu could use more vegetarian options. Lastly, I noticed some guests wishing for a bit more seating in the room to really kick back and relax, and that lack of poached eggs on the menu is just a shame, particularly for how good the rest of the food is.

    spacious room
    thoughtful extras
    delicious breakfast
    remote location

The Granary room offered a huge, comfy bed, and the roll-top bath was a lovely touch. Aly and Simon provided thoughtful extras like homemade cookies and a basket for my dog. Breakfast was definitely a highlight. Fluffy homemade pancakes with bacon were lovely! I appreciated the spacious room that included a fridge, perfect for keeping drinks cold. On the downside, I found the remote location slightly isolating, and I wished there were more vegetarian options on the breakfast menu and a few more seating options in the room. The attention to detail and warm hospitality really set this place apart.
